Great place to stay in Old Sukhothai. Nice swimming pool, great room, breakfast ok. We liked the location, close to the ricefields. Very relaxing. Nice owner with good advice how to explore the surroundings. Sunbeds could have some painting, but we didn't care.
Very niIce Thai accommodation (Italian owner) close to the Sukhotai Historical Park. Good for families and couples.
The room and the failitie to go the city just near, and the swimming pool
The owner of the guesthouse, he just speaks to get his money.
If you are looking for something cheap but with a special touch of sophistication, this is a really good option. The Hotel is frequented more usually for couples, has swimming pool and the breakfast is incredible.
Great Thai breakfast fayre. Lovely tropical garden. Great swimming pool. Good quality rooms.
I had forewarned the hotel when booking that I would be arriving around midnight. Besides their details said they had 24 hour reception but when I got there the hotel gates were locked up and there wasn't even a bell one could ring. I ended up yelling at the top of my voice for ten minutes until I stirred a member of staff. The hotel details also said they had bikes to hire. They didn't! There were bikes to hire a good fifteen minute walk away.
The 'resort' was close to the historic town, and the birds and scenery around the bungalows was fun. (Although the animals were very loud at night...) The breakfast was fine.
The bed was very hard and not clean. We have experience with hard beds in Thailand, but this was really bad. It was like sleeping on a wooden plank with only 1 cm of fabric in between. We slept really bad because of it. Secondly, the bed wasn't clean! The pillows were very dirty and greasy. Also the sheets didn't feel clean, they had orange stains and one large grease stain. Dirty! Also the birds and other animals that are held on the property are very loud (at night). It was like animals were biting and scratching to the bungalow, and the birds wake you up all the time. It was also sad to see so many birds held in really small cages...
Close to the historic park. The owner rents bycicles so You are in a few minutes at the amazing temples. For this price a very good choice.
There are few things You can do when it rains as it did when we were there.
The guest house garden and pool is really nice and green and provides a relaxed atmosphere.
When we arrived, we were shown to our family bungalow. On the pillows there were spiderwebs that had fallen down from the roof, where there were even more. Since the place is in a rural environment, I wasn´t too bothered at first, however when we asked for having it cleaned and then everything was still as before, after the maid had left again, we weren´t too happy. Also, the owner Paolo was giving tips on the area, however still seemed somewhat grumpy to us. Last but not least, the beds/matresses were really hard and uncomfortable.
A lovely, beautiful place to relax by the pool, take in the fantastic gardens or chat with the delightful Italian owner. Paolo gives great advice on local sightseeing and serves an incredible breakfast!
Very nice bungalows in beautiful garden with swimming pool. Main attractions can be explored by bike. You can leave the bikes at the Guesthouse, The owner will help to arrange all. Italian/Thai owners will make sure you feel at home at this place. Don't expect spacious rooms or television, but you will find all you need, hostile and clean! Thanks again to Paolo!
Excellent, clean, friendly and very helpful staff
Nice hotel, nice swimming pool, nice staff, well located (you can go to the temples by bicycle)
No restaurant into the hotel (except for amazing breakfast), but many small restaurant 1km from the hotel (try the bonus restaurant near the temples)
The hotel is really nice and the garden is beautiful. Moreover, breakfast is excellent and the owner is very helpful (good tips on what to do and when to do it). All in all very satisfied. The only negative side is that beds are a bit too hard...
Paolo, the owner , gave us good suggestions to visit Sukhothai. The swimming pool is very nice. Breakfast really incredible!
Near Sokhuthai ancient park, good relax in the swimming pool
